For me, God is truth. Since God is truth, then His word is true. That truth then provides the clear guidelines for me to live by. This creates the potential for me to have a great life in Him...if only I will recognize and live by His truth and will abide in Him.
You ask what is truth? ill tell u what truth is my fellow peoples!! truth is God, thats it!! lol but na seriously. truth is what God is and Jesus is the way, truth and the light. there is no doubt in my mind that God does not have any lies or falsehood in him, he is only truth. Humans can tell the the truth but have the time we dont because of our flesh and opposition in everyday life! so next time you think about truth, think about God!! Shalom
