Bridges members volunteer at Titusville Community Thanksgiving dinner

Bridges V.P. Josh Fortenbery and his sister, Emily Fortenbery, along with Bridges President Kathy Bellamy, and Bridges members Bob and Joann Warford volunteered at the Titusville Community Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 24, 2011. Bridges members donated canisters of drink mixes (tea, lemonade, et cetera) to help with the meal this year. A big thank you goes out to the Bridges members that gave donations and to those who volunteered to serve on Thanksgiving. We are blessed to live in a community that shares and loves and is Jesus in action.

This is the corporate poem that Bridges members contributed to on our Fall 2011 retreat to Daytona Beach/El Caribe. During the retreat, members were asked to write one sentence - 'what is God to you?' Our President, Ms. Kathy Bellamy, then took the sentiments and wove them together into this love letter to God, Bridges first Psalm (click this text to see a larger, easier-to-read version).

Bridges Retreat to Daytona Beach on 11-11-11

Fourteen members of BCC's Bridges Fellowship of Christian Students and Staff met on the Titusville campus on 11-11-11 to pray over each building on the campus, then head to Daytona Beach for a one-day retreat. Our group had an incredible day with great fellowship, friendship, sharing, planning, praying.
Bridges Retreat - 11-11-11 - Bridges members took the day to have a bonding retreat. We began the day by prayer walking our campus, praying for every student, faculty and staff member and visitor to our campus. Then we headed to the El Caribe in Daytona Beach to have a day of sharing, praying, encouragement and fellowship. It was better than any of us expected. We even corporately wrote our first "Bridges Psalm" - a love letter to God. Way cool. What a great day. This is what memories are made of.
